Bottega Veneta Spring 2011
Bottega Veneta's new collection for Spring 2011 was so surprising to me. In a good way. In a practical way. In an "I love it!" kind of way. How sleek and urban of them to choose showing this kind of collection.
Clad in black, these photos from the show above convey the shows ease and elegance of the show. From oversized shapeless pieces, to sportier designs, I love seeing the great dropped waists and modern silhouettes. And my FAVOURITE part was the flat sandals.
I am so happy to see that effortless ease in sport chic being embraced on the runway. Women are having a say in their clothes these days and it is fantastic to see it it reflected in this calibre of show.

Chelsey's Picks of the Day
Check out this fantastic photo shot by the talented Brian Ricks (www.brianricks.com). We let the boots do the talking in this photo. These leopard print bad boys command a certain presence and we know that Steve can compete. Steve is wearing a great vintage cowboy and Nicole is rocking a great kids vintage leather vest. All is complete with vintage sunglasses- all from Model Citizens.

Exquisite jewelry is made by him by combining various materials with sterling silver. He creates magic with sterling silver and the play of colors, in the disguise of jewelry.
