This self titled record, Matt Hornell and the Diamond Minds is an essential record that everyone should own. It is quirky, moving, raw and identifiable. Matt's lyrics resonate and his voice is so strong- is innocent and playful yet there is strength and conviction. Instrumentation is top notch and the fluidity of the album is great. It is available at Fred's now but make sure you catch a live show- they really do an awesome show!

New Pathological Lovers Video!
Local Rock Band "The Pathological Lovers" created, not only a fantastic album that we play in the store ALL of the time, but also kick ass video that just came out. The Yard Sale Cometh!
Model Citizens will be holding our 2nd annual Yard Sale at the store this Saturday (Feb. 6th), and we are currently entering the final preparations for boarding. Just wanted to share some final details, since we've added a few things this year...
1. The store will be set up like a 50's Yard Sale. Astroturf, Retro food and drink, music, movies, etc.
2. We will be giving away a door prize: The Mad Men Season 1 DVD set. (No Purchase necessary)
3. A can of Spam will be hidden in the store; if you find it, you get 50% off your purchase.
4. All inventory is 30% - 50% off! No exceptions.
5. Gift Certificates will be honored.
6. Hanging out is free! Drop by and say Hi, sample some snacks, and have fun!
